I love the idea of a designated nursery bed! I'm too guilty of sticking tiny, tender things in among my other plants.

Thanks for the holly info! I was recently surprised to learn that the coffee substitute Yerba Mate is made from a type of holly (Ilex paraguariensis). I have had a similarly flavored tea made from native yaupon holly (Ilex vomitoria) in spite of the off-putting botanical name (the Clemson professor who made it for me had to spend some time convincing me to try it!) She said the "vomitoria" part refers to the berries instead of the young leaves... which seemed to hold up as true after my taste tests. :)

Loft ladders are also known as library ladders and are great because they come in different styles, as you mention, but they also come in different varieties like ones that can move around corners or be removed and be stowed away when not in use or to get out of the way.

I think you described my container gardening philosophy 'willy nilly' he he. I do have a matching pair at the front door - I'll have to try some trellis options. ooo the copper urn sounds nice too. Thanks for the ideas!
